Alpine Electronics one of the world's top in-car audio system suppliers seeks an individual to fill the following position.
Job Title: Test Engineer, Customer Functions
Department: OEM Engineering, Alpine Sweden
Reports to: OEM Engineering Manager, Alpine Sweden
Location: Sweden, Göteborg
Type of appointment: Permanent / Full-time
Target Start Date: soonest
Key accountabilities:
OEM Customer Support for joint test activities eg Infotainment functions
Participate on behalf of Alpine on various test and validation activities / trips
Management and documentation of software during development and production phase.
Certification Support.
Supporting the customer in field testing and fault diagnosis.
Skills:
Graduate in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (Software engineering desirable)
Experience in audio, video, radio or infotainment systems
OEM vehicle manufacturer or supplier experience
MOST bus experience or CAN bus experience desirable
Audio Sound System Knowledge desirable.
Practically minded and capable learning and use of Testing/Equipment.
Good communication skills
Must be fully conversant in Swedish and English
PC literate including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project.
Ideal Candidate would be:
Able to work with initiative and work unsupervised.
Able to communicate with customers professionally and assertively when required.
Eager to learn and develop within the company.
Able to present a professional image at all times.
Willing to take full ownership of issues and be persistent in the resolution.
Will be flexible in the role to remain focused on customer satisfaction.
Able to work well in a team.
Will have a close attention to detail and accurate working.
Self-Motivated for personal development.
Able to travel overseas on a regular basis within Europe and Japan.
