Main activities and responsibilities
• Plan and conduct tests according to the test order
• Evaluate and document test result in a test report
• Develop and standardize test methods
• Order test materials
• Build test conveyors and equipment
• During running production, take samples from the manufactured batches to make random tests on the components to assure product quality
• Approve initial samples from suppliers
• Assessment of suppliers
• Develop quality assurance and test processes
• Support, analyze and handle some of customer complaints

We are now looking for a dedicated Test Engineer to join the Product quality and testing team at our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden. You will be responsible for our product testing and your goal is to assure that tests are conducted on time, efficiently and in a correct manner. You will also support in the development of new testing methods and take part in the component and supplier approval process. As a valued member of the team you will be working with engineers in Sweden, Poland and China, and you will report to the Product Quality & Testing Supervisor.
Who are you?
• Previous material testing and quality assurance experience
• University diploma related to technical engineering, or similar in work experience
• Good understanding for design
• Large technical interest also on a practical level
• Experienced in working with testing and documenting of results
• It is a merit if you have basic knowledge in LabVIEW, PLC-programing, measuring instruments and sensors
• Able to read and handle technical drawings
• Basic knowledge of materials such as: Plastic, aluminum, stainless, etc
• Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
• Quality assurance tools - meritorious if you have knowledge within APQP and PPAP
• You are an analytic, structured person that likes working in a team
