General description
The function of this role is to verify the implementation of requirements. Verifies that an application/system fulfils the specified requirements, manually or automatically through implementation of test systems. The Test Engineer also gives continuous feedback to the system developers/designers as well as project and product managers on the verified application/system.
Responsibilities and Duties
Verify that an application/system fulfils the specified requirements
Give continuous feedback to the developers/designers as well as project management on the verified application/system
Design test cases.
Execute test cases, analyse and verify the result.
Identify, localize and report all faults found.
Report the result of performed tests and inform responsible Test Leader of test status.
Comply with Functional Description for the Functional Test unit.
Follow the Test Process and Test Methods used within Broker Services.
Suggest test improvements to the Management Team.
Review requirements and design specifications.
Give recommendation about the quality of the tested area.
Give recommendation about new releases delivered from development.
Reporting
Reports to Line Manager/Program Manager.
Knowledge and skills
Knowledge of testing principles, methods and used processes
Knowledge from testing NYX products.
Knowledge of testing principles.
Knowledge of the Asian markets
Good knowledge of English.
Fluent in Hindi or Urdu
Diagnostic and problem solving skills
Has an analytical and logical approach to testing, takes pride in his/her work and is ingenious in finding new ways in which to test the products.
Experience required
Good knowledge of NYX products, or
Experience from testing.
Education
University Degree.
