Background:
Takara Clontech is a highly innovative company and leader in the field of life science and cellular biology. The company is looking for a territory manager in Sweden to support and further build up its customer base in Sweden.
Main responsibilities:
1. Market and sell Takara and Clontech Products
2. Achieving territory sales targets according to the dedicated business plan
3. Maintain and develop existing and new customer relationships through individual account contacts by personal visits, email or Telephone
4. Improve relationship to customers, especially opinion leaders and references, to increase brand awareness
5. Maintain and update regularly the customer and prospect database by using the Customer Relationship Management program.
6. Plan, write and follow-up price offers and tenders in accordance with general pricing policies and discount limits
7. Monitor and report on market developments and competitor activities and provide relevant management information.
8. Identify opportunities, organize and actively participate in field activities like scientific seminars, workshops, trade shows, exhibitions, etc.
9. Communicate and attend meetings with peers and with other company functions like marketing, scientific support, customer service, necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development.
10. Attend trainings, meetings, webinars and other educational events to maintain and develop relevant technical knowledge and sales skills.
Required Technical Skills and Knowledge
Technical background:
Advanced degree in biological sciences / life science, minimum requirement Master of Science (PhD would be a plus),
Knowledge of current laboratory techniques in molecular biology
Min. 2 to 3 years lab experience
Sales attitude already tested successfully in the field of life science.
Language skills: Swedish, English
Place of work: Home office, Sweden (Stockholm area preferred).
