The team of Process Development and Manufacturing at the Department of Biologics Galderma A&C division needs a nine month replacement for a Bioprocess Scientist at parental leave.
• **** Work description: *****
The person will be a member of a four people team with a focus on optimization and improvements of robustness of a drug substance manufacturing bioprocess at early clinical development phase. Both studies with upstream and downstream processes will be performed. The work also includes regular maintenance of instructions, instruments and laboratories.
Main work tasks will be:
• Plan and perform and report laboratory studies
• Document activities according to both R&D and GMP-standards

You are a person that likes to work in a rapidly changing environment as you are flexible and at the same time enjoy focusing on your own tasks. You have a University degree oriented towards protein science and/or biotechnology. You might have a few years of practical work in one or several of the fields bacterial cultivation, protein science and protein purification in the biotech industry or academic research. You have hands-on skills and can work independently to solve laboratory issues of both technical and chemical nature.
• University degree in natural sciences with orientation towards fermentation, protein science and or biotechnology
• 2 years experience from work with fermentation, protein science including deep hands-on knowledge on protein purification, is a merit
