We are now looking to employ one temporary Maintenance System Engineer to our office in Gothenburg, Sweden, to support the Technical Department with strategic maintenance development and to handle the maintenance Helpdesk for our vessels.
As a Maintenance System Engineer, you will be part of our Technical Department, work closely together with our Maintenance System Superintendent and the other members of the department, and have daily contact with crew members offshore.
We have recently implemented a new maintenance system (IFS) to enhance the analysis of maintenance data as well as improve support for efficient onboard maintenance planning, reporting, and purchasing. As a Maintenance System Engineer, you will provide support to the crew in our Maintenance System, both via the Helpdesk but also with training. You will assist the Maintenance Superintendent with strategic work and other maintenance projects like continuing to optimize and develop our maintenance strategies and methods. Both in IFS, but also via work procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
During the year we made a transit to IFS for Maintenance Management as part of a larger ERP project including Purchasing, Finance, and Accounting. You will work closely and support the crew onboard and other users of the new systems at our Helpdesk. You will also perform maintenance analysis and implement improvements in the maintenance databases.
Qualifications:
Experience in CMMS management and support. If you have knowledge of SQL databases, or SFI-structure it is an advantage. We prefer if you also have experience working onboard a vessel/rig, preferably as an engineer. We expect you to have an engineering degree or similar.

Type of employment: Project/temporary 6-9 months.
Commencement date: soonest, or as per the agreement, until the end of summer 2024.
