Telenor Trainee Program
Telenor Trainee Program is an exciting opportunity within Telenor Sweden, offering a unique opportunity to combine strategic initiatives, theoretical learnings, and practical experience. We offer you an exciting year within a fast-paced environment in which your personal development is front and center. By combining your daily work with trainings in relevant subjects, you will build a solid foundation to succeed within Telenor as well as grow as a professional.
During the program, you will have a dedicated position and on top of that get the opportunity to build a strong network throughout the organization, receive some rotations and an assigned buddy, as well as become a member of Telenor Sweden's community for trainees. For the right person, the trainee program will open great opportunities within Telenor Group.
The program runs from August 2023 - September 2024 and our two main areas are: Business Trainee and Tech Trainee, see details below.
Business Trainee
Our Business Trainee area includes three different roles with a strong focus towards Sales, Marketing, Business Management and Products and Services. The area aims to increase customer value and revenue in both short- and long-term perspectives.
Business Management Trainee
Business Management within our Consumer division manages a large part of our P&L for all Mobile Products. This role will include a variety of assignments ranging from operational to a strategic level. Within this role you will build deep insights in our consumer portfolio and tools to increase sales and customer value. You will be involved in exiting and important discussions that are crucial for one of our central businesses within Telenor Sweden.
Commercial Trainee B2B
Customer Base Management is a part of our B2B organization and work with the aim to drive revenue and value towards our existing customers. The team is striving to improve our level of data-driven analysis and way of work, which are crucial for us to succeed. As Trainee within Customer Base, you will be involved in critical projects and discussions within areas as Marketing, Business Management, Sales, and Products & Processes.
Finance Trainee
Our Finance department is one of our support functions within Telenor Sweden and acts as Business Partners towards the organization. As Finance Trainee, you will have the chance to combine your financial theoretical knowledge with a strong business focus and grow into the role as Business Controller. You will be involved in planning and analyzing our financials, in both short- and long-term perspectives and work in close collaboration with stakeholders in our organization.
Tech Trainee
Our Tech Area consists of three roles and is focusing on the IT and Networks divisions within Telenor Sweden. Our Tech Trainees are here to meet the needs and challenges today, tomorrow and in the future from a technical perspective as well as from a management perspective.
Networks Trainee
In Networks we want to build Managers of the future and the purpose with this role is to learn about our division and progressing in the role as a future technology manager within Networks. We offer you an exclusive insight into management and decision-making processes and the opportunity to build a strong network within the organization. You will also learn how to work with technical strategies, financial follow-up and budgeting within a technology organization to build relevant skills for the future.
Agile Team Lead Trainee
Consumer IT is a part of our IT Division, accountable to execute on our IT Strategy of Telenor Sweden. In this role, you will be a part of creating dynamic and scalable solutions for our Webb, App, Customer Service, Sales Channels and Outbound Tele Sales. You will play an important role in how we reach our consumer customers and be involved in several projects that has a big impact on our business and you'll also obtain a high understanding on how digital product development is accomplished within agile product teams.
Software Developer Trainee (Karlskrona)
B2B IT is responsible for our systems within our business-to-business area. In this role, you will have the possibility to work with different teams with the aim to gather deep insights from our IT division. You will work with teams supporting area such as Web, Business Support Systems and Operations Support Systems.

* Degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent
