Publiceringsdatum2013-05-06Dina arbetsuppgifterWe are looking for a Brake and Bogie System Engineer to be based in Sweden.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Define, design, integrate, and validate sub-functions with impact on TCMS, based on requirements defined by the Architects, and adhering to the contractual objectives & standards.
• Be responsible of all aspects of the Brake and Bogie Systems, their sub-functions and subsystems.
• Convert requirements into SRDs for the suppliers and follow-up the supplier technical solution (design reviews, JDDP, management of the Engineering documents in the CDRL) & ensure timely and proper integration.
• Ensure on-time in full delivery of Brake and Bogie Systems, as per commitment and scope, in line with full functional responsibility of the system in their project
• Ensure that standard systems deliverables and best practices are used for all projects. Extend the standard deliverables and increase the reusability across all projects,
• Proactively manage interface issues across systems and other project functions.
• Provide visibility on the status of the Brake and Bogie Systems.
• Proactively escalate issues to the architects to ensure on time in full delivery.
• Support the field during production, product introduction, reliability growth and warranty period, in seeking solutions to technical problems for the functions / systems.
• Manage and develop a pool of competent resources to fulfill current and future projects needs by also integrating lessons learned
• Key expected deliverables of Brake and Bogie System within the System Engineering department:
• The Brake and Bogie Systems are performing and functioning compliant to Customer and legal requirements
• The deliverability of the work scope defined above to time and budget
• The assurance and quality of that work and the validation/verification activity to demonstrate conformance to all requirements (legislation, standards, contract and BT internal)
• The timely identification of issues in delivering the work scope and identify corrective actions to mitigate the issues.
• The visibility is provided to Project Core Team
• The interface issues are dealt proactively / on time.
• Escalation and ad hoc working group are running to resolve coming issues beforehand.
• Creating technical requirement documentation, system descriptions, interface documents
• Engineering contact with supplier, supporting procurement and technically evaluate supplier offers and proposals
• Ensuring proper integration of the system (electrical, functional and physical) and manage interfaces to other parts of the train
• Ensuring technical compliance with both the customer specification and the regulatory authorities demands for all engineering areas
• Support QA in reviews and inspection. Support production and commissioning. Perform testing and validation.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
As our ideal candidate you possess:
• B.Sc or M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or Engineering Physics with work experience from mechanical engineering ideally from the railway industry or with other relevant industries.
• Experience from rail industry, or other vehicle industry
• Project management skills
• Good planning and organization skills
• the ability to identify and mitigate risks in the design phase as well as to analyze and solve problems in cooperation with the system supplier and teams with internal specialists.
• Ability to logically analyze and manage complex situations.
• This position supports the business by providing correct and cost effective system solutions to the project organization.
• The work performed will influence the design, performance and cost of Bombardier products for their lifetime.

• MS Office programs experiuence and ability to document system solutions etc.
