hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Volvo 3P i Ospecificerad arbetsort Durability & Reliability within Complete Vehicle has the responsibility to analyse, verify and predict vehicle durability, reliability and strength. This is mostly done by measurements and experimental testing of parts, systems and modules. The activities are performed in rigs and complete vehicles on both proving ground and public roads. We also work in close co-operation with respective design department as well as calculation departments in target setting and planning of verification.
The Features & Simulation group is a continental group organized within Durability & Reliability within Complete Vehicle. The team is located in both Gothenburg and Lyon. The group employs some 14 persons with specialist knowledge.
As Technology Specialist Reliability you will be responsible for:
Lead and advise technical development of the Reliability feature for both hardware and software
Improve quality and efficiency of Reliability test methods for current and future truck technologies such as increased electrical functionality
Teaching and mentoring within engineering regarding: theory, analysis methodology and best-practice
Lead the feature management process development for Reliability
Lead the Feature Co-ordinating Team (FCT) for long term development of the feature reliability
Lead and carry out advanced engineering and method development for Reliability
Co-operation with external partners like universities and research institutes
The following qualifications are required:
Experience from product development and quality engineering within the vehicle industry
Technical education corresponding to a masters degree or higher
Experience from working with quality securing methods
Good knowledge of the different truck applications
Good knowledge in spoken and written English
As a Technology Specialist you are expected to:
Be organized and structured
Have lots of energy and commitment to handle new challenges
Motivate and convince all projects to meet required feature level
Be flexible and enjoy working in a global environment
Be a network builder and have very good and clear communication skills both written and spoken
