Job Description:
Hem is seeking a driven Technology Director to build and lead the tech aspects of a cutting edge e-commerce shopping experience. This full time position will report to the CEO and is based In Stockholm Sweden.
As Hem head of Technology you will be responsible for all our tech initiatives. In cooperation with sales, e-commerce and design departments you will, create & implement our technology standards across the organisation. You will be required to independently and proactively plan, articulate and develop technology initiatives according to the company strategy. This includes e-commerce platform and online configurators, as well as occasional physical point of sales technology.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Understand, translate the execute the the UI/UX requirements defined by the company stakeholders such as design team, e-commerce director and CEO
• Collaborating with the Creative Team and e-commerce director to translate user experience requirements into appropriate designs
• Produce, test, and launch online experiences on our e-commerce platform
• Proactively contribute and collaborate with other departments to the integration of other platforms and solutions to our e-commerce solution (such as CRM, billing and accounting, inventory and e-marketing activities)
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer:
• Graduate in computer science or IT
• You should have 3+ years experience in IT and be fully immersed in internet technologies and especially e-commerce
• Experience with high-end or luxury or home furnishing industries is highly meriting
• You understand the ins and out of luxury and high-end e-commerce
• You are a "doer" and don't mind getting your hands dirty in a highly entrepreneurial environment
• You have high knowledge and experience of design and its impact on sales
• Highly driven, have the ability to work with multiple stakeholders, with good leadership and people management skills
• Experience with online e-commerce platforms such as shopify or similar is a plus
