Overview
The Global Hygiene Supply (GHS) organization supports efficiency and growth of the different product supply organizations around the world. We are currently looking for an experienced Technology Area Engineer for the Feminine Technology Area, based either in Ecatepec, Mexico, Gemerska, Slovakia or in Gothenburg, Sweden.



Main Tasks
The Technology Area Engineer holds the overall technical responsibility in assigned projects within Technology Area Feminine. This is done by making a translation of relevant business needs into technical requirements and then, in very close cooperation with machine suppliers, secure the development of a machine solution that meets or exceed agreed performance KPIs (e.g. safety, efficiency, change over time). The position also has the overall technical responsibility in installation of new capacity machines.* Support in developing the Technology Area Strategy for Feminine, including machine platform development plans

Define, plan and lead Feminine technology development in line with Technology Area Strategy, balancing the needs for safety, quality, innovation and manufacturing performance requirements
Take technology ownership in innovation projects in close cooperation with R&D, Innovation Teams, factories and suppliers
Identify machine platform capability gaps and include them in platform development plan
Secure alignment between technology deliverables and technical KPIs
Secure that manufacturability aspects are taken into consideration in product development throughout innovation projects
Steer external suppliers in assigned projects
Drive supplier development in line with agreed supplier development plans
Prepare Capex input in assigned projects
Manage Intellectual property (IP) topics within assigned projects

Key Competencies
University degree or equivalent within relevant practice
5+ years' experience from manufacturing operations, technology and/ or R&D. Suitable backgrounds for candidates for this role are technical managers, project managers, industrial engineers, production managers or other positions with an experience of technology development in manufacturing companies
International work orientation or experience
Experience from external supplier relations
Experience in quality assurance methods (E.g. Six Sigma)
