Three main activities:
• Inventory
No documentation available. A need to perform a physical inventory to find information.
• Registration
The data from the inventory is inserted into the DCIM database.
• Import
Infrastructure equipment that is already documented shall be inserted into the DCIM database. There will be a need for 'translation' meaning change of format using pre-defined templates or macros.
• Validation
That data information elements in the DCIM database is correct in relation to the physical infrastructure.
2. Competence needs
• Solid experience of Microsoft Excel software tool.
• Solid experience of data import and export to and from databases
i.e. familiar with different formats, usage of templates and macros etc. (e.g. Network management, Infrastructure Management, Alarm Management etc.)
• Preferably understanding of facility infrastructure equipment
(e.g. cabinets, Power Distribution Units, switches, routers)
• Preferably good understanding of databases.
• Preferably experience with Graphical User Interface (GUI) application software.
3. Duration
The duration will be 3-6 months and might be extended according our customer standard sourcing terms and conditions.
4. Expected output
Execution and finalization of different Work Packages (WP) in the 'Data Import' area as mentioned above.
Competence needs
