ADB SAFEGATE is currently seeking a Technical Writer to our office in Malmö.

As a Technical Writer you will get the opportunity to work close to the most talented people within our R&D and Product Management departments in Europe as well as in the U.S.
Job responsibilities:
In this role you will manage our documentation through all phases of its development cycle. Translate complex information into clear understandable documents, manuals and product descriptions. Follow company's CMS process for maintaining company records/files including content version control.
In cooperation with the R&D, Product, Technical service and Marketing teams, you will develop, maintain and publish technical content including manuals, installation instructions, service bulletins, brand guidelines and other documents as required for our products and systems. You will produce both internal and external content to users and customers. This content will be given in text, figures, diagrams, images and illustrations with purpose how to use ADB SAFEGATES solutions.
Travelling is estimated to be around 5-15 days/per year.
Competencies:

You have a strong sense of responsibility, you are quality-conscious and you take initiatives which you drive to conclusion. Given the international environment you have excellent communication skills in English and in Swedish both verbally and in writing. Additional languages are an asset.
It's an autonomously position and therefore important that you enjoy working both independently and in collaboration with other teams. In addition you have:
• Bachelor degree or equivalent in English, technical communications or a related Engineering discipline
• 2-5 years relevant proven working experience in technical writing for high-tech equipment
• Knowledge of one or more current industry-standard authoring tools
• Strong knowledge in MS Office, Adobe FrameMaker and/or adequate graphics tool
• Experience from working in international environments is an advantage
