We are looking for a technical writer to take part of our global product development team at our modern headquarters in Malmö. As a technical writer you will be responsible for the external product documentation process and the tasks and responsibilities include producing, maintaining and delivering user documentation in various formats to Beijer Electronics customers around the world.
You will work closely with R&D teams and Product Managers in an agile and global environment and drive the technical documentation process with an emphasis on continuous improvement. Together this team ensures our customers products can be installed, used, and serviced with the right information at the right place.
Your role includes ensuring that the information is user-friendly, timely and consistent with the requirements that are associated with the development of high-tech products. You will be responsible for creating and updating product information based on various forms of input for new and exciting products. Producing and maintaining legal documentation, like US export on our products will also be a task for you.

The successful applicant
You have been working as a technical writer for a few years and before that you have a technical education. Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English and Swedish is a prerequisite. In addition to this, it is a plus if you know any other languages.
In your previous jobs you have gained experience from working with Arbortext in an XML based framework. Previous experience of working with software will help to provide an understanding of the task and the terminology. Experience in the automation sector is considered as a plus.
As a person you are self driven and structured, you seek information and enjoy making new contacts. There are always many things going on at the same time, so being able to multitask and prioritize is a must as well as the ability to keep calm in stressful situations.
Experience and interest in User Experience (UX) and/or SW testing will be considered as an advantage since we see this position to be expanded over the time.
