This job is for Motorola Mobility.

Motorola Mobility Converged Experiences Software Solutions software suite Dreamgallery enables operators to offer cloud-based video services to their subscribers. The software allows users to reach their video content from any device at any time. Among our customers are leading TV operators that drive innovation within the industry.

We are now in an expanding phase with high pressure from customers, and in an accelerating need for new, cutting-edge features.

If developing technical information for cutting-edge software solutions appeals to you, you can become part of versatile and motivated teams working in an exciting product development environment. You will work in a team of technical writers in close cooperation with product owners, developers, professional services, technology team, system engineers, and testers.

Basic Qualifications

• An ability to quickly learn advanced technical processes and concepts
• An ability to produce technical documentation with excellent readability addressing various target groups
• Technical background: MSc, BSc, or similar
• Significant experience in writing technical documentation
• Excellent command of English language, both written and verbal
• Strong communication skills

Scope of Responsibility / Expectations

• Explain technically complex concepts in clear, concise English
• Design, create, and maintain various materials including integration, system administration, user guides and instructions
• Follow internal standards, processes, and templates to ensure consistency, and quality of deliverables

Preferred Specific Knowledge and Skills

• A university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar
• Work experience in IPTV, telecom or software sectors
• Analytical, inquisitive, structured, flexible, and result-oriented
• Strong multitasking capability, and the skill of balancing priorities of parallel tasks
• Experience in web development incl. Java, JavaScript, and HTML5
