Position: Technical Support Engineer
Location: Lund, Sweden
Job type: Full Time, Permanent

How you will contribute

As a member of the Customer Support team, you and your colleagues are responsible for service and customer support of CellaVision software and hardware products. You support customers with the installation of devices, service trainings and provide technical service to our internal sales organization as well as external partners in the field. You work with daily customer contact and contribute to problem-solving in the field as well as remote support through phone and email.

As Technical Support Engineer you will:

• Establish and maintain contact with contracted distributors' service organizations.

• Design, plan and conduct service training both remote and on-site at the customer's premises.

• Give presentations and be involved in the planning and implementation of several customer seminars and training activities annually.

• Continuously follow market trends and competition to assist CellaVision with information to further develop the products according to customers' wishes.

• Work in close collaboration with other functions within CellaVision to ensure efficiency in processes around customer support.

• Perform installations of instruments and software, perform maintenance operations of instruments, and carry out repairs on-site at the customer's premises.

• Writing instructions, circular letters, technical notes and assist in service manual writing in close collaboration with the technical writing department.

What you will bring

You thrive working in a customer-centered role and working with complex technical problem-solving is what motivates you. You have a well-developed educational ability and are comfortable giving presentations in front of a group to convey your knowledge in an informative way. We believe you are structured and work systematically, always with the customer interest and need at the core of what you do. Finally, since we are a small team of four, you are a true team player that enjoy helping and working in close collaboration with your team and the rest of the organization.

• Higher education in a technology-related field or equivalent experience

• You have prior experience working with customers and partners with technically advanced products, from medical device industry is considered an advantage but not a requirement

• You have experience in educating customers and partners

• You bring genuine technical interest as well as an understanding of computers and networks

• You have advanced level of both English and Swedish, written and verbal
