As Technical Specialist within the area of signal processing and image analysis you be a key player in our new research team working with the latest imaging and signal technology for our product platform. You will be working with exciting innovative concepts on a pre-study basis and hold the overall responsibility to develop strategies and secure technology readiness by initiating and supervising research projects.
Your daily work includes exploring new ways to qualify and assure both the components manufactured in our systems and the system itself by for example analyses of the electron beam system performance. For example, by analyzing backscatter electrons, x-rays and camera images. The role also includes giving advice to management in technical matters, secure competence development within the area of imaging and signal technology by providing mentoring and coaching on technical matters. You are also responsible to develop and maintain external relations to share experiences and bring in new ideas. This position will include occasional travelling.
Requirements
• M Sc. (or preferably a PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or other relevant discipline
• 10 years working experience with demonstrated technical knowledge from the area of signal processing and image analysis
• Previous experience from working with pre-study concepts
• Extensive knowledge in product development processes, image evaluation, troubleshooting and software development
• Excellent level of English, both written and spoken
