We are looking to hire a Technical Specialist to our team in Gothenburg, Sweden.
As Technical Specialist you will play a key role by govern and managing our Scientific Services delivery and our SAP system. Developing a good working relationship with different levels of customer within the organization as well as interfacing with external groups such as suppliers, contractors and service providers is also part of the role. You will be encouraged to create and implement the Life Cycle Asset Maintenance Strategy including utilization of surplus equipment, both from a local as well as a global perspective. You will also enjoy the responsibility that comes with this role - leading change projects, challenges and influence internal processes and procedures to improve business performance, establish needs and contribute to new improved ways of working and provide support to end-users.

You will have the opportunity to drive the Life Cycle Asset Management strategy for our scientific equipment's as well as drive forward the governance and management of our equipment database, the SAP system.
Scientific Services, comprised within Facilities Management department, deliver support to all laboratory and manufacturing facilities in Gothenburg within three key areas: Equipment Support, Lab Support and Dispatch Point.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
As a Technical Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
* Builds commitment to a shared vision and creates a climate of empowerment
* Leading projects to meet development timelines by working collaboratively with a variety of colleagues from a range of other skill groups such as finance, procurement, IS/IT, external suppliers and different customer groups.
Minimum requirements:
* Preferable a background in the discipline fields of data management and a Bachelor in a Life Science/Information/Data related discipline or equivalent
* Good knowledge and practical experience of data base system approach
* Good working knowledge of the research function associated with SAP
* You will have excellent team playing and communication skills and ability to operate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment, providing leadership and insight in the discipline
Preferred requirements
* Strong practical experience from working within SAP environment or equivalent platforms
* Excellent understanding and experience with Asset Maintenance Process
* Experience in Scientific/Instrumentation and project management
* Experience of training/coaching users of maintenance systems
