Job description
The main responsibility of the Technical Services Specialist is to analyze customer issues and to supply customers with expert advice and service related to the use of our software. When you become more experienced there might be opportunities to take part in customer projects.
A successful candidate has keen interest both in software/systems for trading and the Financial Markets. Although you focus on software issues you need to have or develop an understanding of how our product is used and our customer?s business.
Position requirements
You have a degree in Computer Science or Engineering or 2-3 years of experience in the financial industry or a financial software/development environment. You are fluent in both spoken and written English and have excellent troubleshooting/problem-solving and communication skills. You are a methodical and stress tolerant team player that can handle several ongoing issues.
You also need knowledge and experience in some of the following areas:
• Windows Server
• Virtual Environments
• Clustering
• Computer Networks
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Basic programming skills (eg. C/ C++/ C#/ Java / Python)
