Technical Service Manager
As Technical Service Manager at Qmatic your responsibility is to understand and identify our global clients' needs and maintain and develop service solutions to support the Qmatic product portfolio. This comprises all from register and return received goods, hands-on repair to create repair documentation and guidelines for our upcoming service hub's. You lead day to day activities and have the overall staff responsibility for the department. The Technical Service Manager will also provide failures and trend analysis, both in its own department as well for the production. You will occasionally hold internal and external courses. The position is based at the global headquarter in Mölndal, Sweden and will include some travelling to Qmatic subsidiaries and partners. You will report to our Supply Chain Director.

Your background
To be successful in this position you need to have a technical education preferable at post-secondary level. Several years of experience from maintenance and support in a similar position combined with knowledge in analog and digital electronic design is a prerequisite. Previous experience from a team leading position is an advantage. We believe that the right candidate possesses proven skills in soldering towards the IPC standard and good knowledge in system integration involving TCP-IP networks and embedded software. It is also beneficial with experience from SAP & Super Office or similar business systems. As a person you have strong communication skills, and are brilliant at delivering technical documentation. You are able to build good relationships and work consultative with others. Our expectation on this position is to independently improve and create processes and strategies in order to develop a more efficient quality of work within the department. Therefore you need analytical skills and a solution oriented approach. You must have the ability to take strategic decisions at the same time as you are willing to do the operational task yourself. As you will be working in a global environment you must be fluent in English and enjoy working with people from different cultures.
