JOB DESCRIPTION
The Corporate Marketing department is a central resource overall responsible for the global marketing strategy and planning as well as to develop tools and concepts that are used and implemented by the sales offices, as well as our partners.
The Academy team at Corporate Marketing is responsible for the Axis Communications Academy – a program to train our partners and Axis’ employees. The Academy offer general and specific training courses – online or classroom based-, logistical support and train the trainer programs. As a Technical Script writer and instructional designer you will be working with competent colleagues in an agile environment with lots of challenges, and you will:
• Focus on creating technical manuscripts based on features in Axis products and total design solutions which incorporate Axis products.
• Be hands on with Axis products, experimenting with the different features in order to build a deeper technical understanding and transform your new skills into appropriate content.
• In some cases work through the full cycle of creating online trainings, from interviewing subject matter experts to collecting background material, creating the instructional design and writing manuscripts. In other cases contribute with the technical part of a training concept.
YOURQUALIFICATIONS:
You have an educational background in engineering with a relevant master's degree. You also have experience from developing technical training materials, online trainings, adult training or from vocational schools teaching technical subjects. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, as all courses are developed in English. We believe you have the ability to write educationally and motivating training materials and to explain technically complex features in a user-friendly way.
Experience from Network video/IP surveillance and topics such as networks, camera technology and image quality and/or traditional security and surveillance is an advantage. A personal interest in photography and cameras is considered a plus.
Apart from the above we believe that you’re flexible and open minded with experience of working in a multi lingual organization with desire to learn and develop new skills.
