If you have a big interest in the technical area of trucks, enjoy to communicate and to build good long lasting relationships - you might be exactly what we are looking for.Your mission as Technical Sales EngineerYou are responsible to help the dealers and market companies to customize Volvo trucks to the customer's needs, all in a technical-commercial environment. You support dealers with product and technical advice concerning our trucks product range and assist the dealer in using sales tools and systems. You have daily contact with people from different cultures and organizations, solving problems and giving technical suggestions. You will work globally, being responsible for a geographical area and the stakeholders within the area. With your interest in finding solutions, you are the link between sales organizations and manufacturing. That also involves implementing, developing and quoting Customer Adaptation requests in close partnership with your colleagues, the regional product manager, field sales engineer and the factory-engineering department. Scope of the Job:Drive quality and stability in the Customer Adaptation processDevelop concepts for shorter lead-time and increased flexibilityFollow up Customer Adaptation intake and support sales organization with different solutionDevelop and implement business rulesDrive performance in the Volvo Trucks Customer Adaptation process through networking and follow up on relevant KPI'sWho do we believe that you are?We do not know each other yet so we cannot really describe you, our future colleague, in details.
