As a Technical Sales engineer you help the dealer and market companies to customize Volvo trucks to the customer's needs, all in a technical-commercial environment. You are in daily contact with people from different cultures and organizations. With your interest in solution finding you are the link between sales organizations and manufacturing. Good communication skills, an open and positive mind set and a strong customer focus is what makes you perfect for our team.
Scope of the Job
Drive quality and stability in the Customer Adaptation process
Develop concepts for shorter lead-time and increased flexibility
Follow up Customer Adaptation intake and support sales organization with different solution
Develop and implement business rules
Drive performance in the GTS Customer Adaptation process through networking and follow up on relevant KPI's
The Technical Sales engineer is the operational part of the Customer Adaptation Process organization
Key responsibilities
• You support dealers with product and technical advice concerning our trucks product range
• You implement, develop and quote Customer Adaptation requests in close partnership with your colleagues, the regional product manager, field sales engineer and the factory engineering department
• You assist the dealer in using sales tools and systems

Personal Profile
• Higher technical education degree or comparable automotive experience
• Professional team player with networking abilities
• Strong interest in automotive technology
• Service minded, motivated and determined to reach agreed goals
• Fluent in English. Additional languages and more advanced cultural knowledge and are both considered an asset
• Eager to continuously learn and grow within your job
• Knowledge about trucks and transport industry is an advantage
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new systems
• Accurate in administrative work and comfortable with multitasking
