ADB SAFEGATE is currently seeking a Technical Sales Engineer
As Technical Sales Engineer you will be part of the sales department - Airport Performance who is responsible to provide our customers with intelligent solutions that deliver superior airport performance from approach to departure. Our Sales organization needs to ensure that we can meet the future demands of our customers and increase our market share.
You will get the opportunity to work within ADB Safegate's strategic business area and with the entire airport operational performance. Your focus will be to analyze the airport's operational challenges and needs and together with the Sales Manager present and discuss the operational analyzes you have made at the airport and advise ADB Safegate's solutions with Stakeholders.
It's a dedicated team working with Airport Performance and you will be surrounded by nice, committed and driven colleagues. The team has a great knowledge within the field and you will get the opportunity to learn a lot from their expertise.
You will report to our VP Sales & Marketing Henrik Linderberth, who is based in Dubai. Job description
As a Technical Sales Engineer we expect you to contribute, be involved in and influence our business projects. You will work closely with our Sales Managers and serve as a support thru the whole sales process. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will need to immerse yourself in and acquire a more comprehensive understanding of airport operations. In order to support our clients as a thought leader and expert, it is crucial that you will be educated in our product portfolio to understand how we can contribute to our customers challenges and expectations.
You will work mainly with Scandinavia, Central- and Eastern Europe, but you may also support other continents. The role will require about 100-150 travel days a year.
Qualifications
You hold a Master degree within Engineering and we believe you have 2-4 years of experience from a similar technical role or from a sales position. You are eager and interested to learn and know the airport industry.
To handle the position as Technical Sales Engineer you need to hold analyzing abilities, be solutions oriented and have technical as well as business skills. You have good knowledge of performing analyzes, surveys, produce reports, keep presentation about the value in your analyze and advise possible solutions.
It is a requirement that you speak and write English fluently and it is an advantageous if you speak additional languages. Driving license is a requirement.
