Job description
We are now looking for an experienced and qualified candidate with the main mission to work as Technical Project Manager in the Research & Development (R&D) department. As Technical Project Manager you will lead the R&D part of our product development projects from idea to a complete product. Our product development projects can be both local projects in Örebro but also global projects with project members and project managers from different Epiroc sites around the world.
Your main responsibilities in this role will be:

* Define a suitable sub project organization and agree with the line Managers about resource allocations
* Formulate the goals, objectives, exclusions, time plan & budget for the sub project together with the members of the sub project team
* Take responsibility to continuously reflect, be proactive, innovative and, when applicable, suggest improvements to the project realization to the Project Manager.
* Plan, follow up and update the resource need continuously to allow a good planning in the line organization.
* Motivate and support colleagues in the team and secure support for the sub project in the organization
* Manage the sub project using appropriate tools such as meetings, reviews etc.
* Handle risks in the sub project continuously through the project
* Keep the Project Manager and the other sub Project Managers informed about the work progress and deviations
* Be responsible to the Project Manager for achieving the sub project goals, deliverables and objectives and that these harmonize with the other parts of the project

You must have an ability to work in a structured and driving way, have a good sense of orderliness and both the willingness and capability to consistently deliver the right quality with good delivery precision. This is a wide and outreached position including many internal cross functional contacts but also externally with sales companies, customers, other Epiroc sites around the world, suppliers etc.

Experience and Knowledge
To succeed in this role you shall have at least 5-7 years of experience from technical product development with similar complexity as our products, technical project management or similar, experience from mobile applications in demanding environments is meriting.
You shall have a general technical knowledge and skills in project / product management. Very good knowledge of English is required since English is our corporate language and is used, both in speech and in writing.

In order to enjoy in work, it is important that you have a living interest in technology and good analytical skills. You must be proactive with strong self-motivation. Working as Technical Project Manager requires good communications skills, a structured approach and willingness to take full responsibility. You are innovative, analytical and have an ability to get things done. Technically advanced products for demanding customers around the world should be an inspiring area.

Educational Requirements
You shall have a documented academic background with an appropriate orientation or other qualified engineering background.
