hela Sverige Northvolt has an exciting job offer for an alternative Technical Project Manager to join our Västerås team.
In joining us for 12-18 months, you will play an important part from the very start in developing a new generation of large-scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon-free society, and this is your opportunity to take part in leading those efforts and help drive us to success.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Overseeing a strategic segment of the Drei factory program across all project phases: Design, Procurement, Commissioning, and Startup of process equipment
Managing project teams and Northvolt partners, ensuring effective communication, technical clarity, and monitoring of schedules and costs
Handling interface management with Construction Team (CSA, MEP, Clean & Dry room) for equipment installation timeline
Planning and coordinating basic and detailed engineering design, proactively addressing issues that may impact schedule and costs
Monitoring and ensuring Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental performance
We believe that you have:
Master's degree in mechanical, industrial, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, or material science
Extensive project leadership experience in dynamic industrial environments
Specialized in industrialization projects and machine/equipment concepts
Proficient in production facilities and utilities with a focus on quality
Excellent English communication skills
Strong stakeholder management and analytical skills
Ability to guide the team in time management and foster a productive culture
Agile mindset and experience in methodology beneficial
