Interested in driving the technical scope in our Front-End Engineering projects? Then this is a great opportunity to join a department conducting technical project studies and technology qualification of advanced cable systems.
Drive the technical scope
Europe undergoes a transition in meeting the ambitious climate targets of reducing emissions with 55% by 2030 and being fully climate neutral by 2050. Electrification with renewable energy is paramount in meeting the targets and for this Energy company's require advanced power transmission systems. Our Front-End Engineering (FEED) team support our customers to reach their targets by enabling technology for specific applications; this by conducting technical project studies including design, engineering and qualification of new technology.
We are now expanding the team and are looking for a Project-Engineer with focus on the technical scope in these projects.
Your primary tasks will be:
* Design and engineering of submarine cable systems; this with focus on dynamic HVAC and HVDC systems.
* In collaboration with the FEED Project manager, establish technology qualification programs to be conducted in collaboration with our end customers.
* In collaboration with the FEED Project manager, support the execution of the concept studies and technology qualification programs.
* Coordinate technical scope including functions within technology and engineering.
* Report results to end customer on a frequent basis.

You will be a part of a team of colleagues placed mainly in Karlskrona and Malmö. We are open to flexible location at any of our Swedish offices in Karlskrona or Malmö and there is also a possibility to work part time on distance.
Analytical and collaborative engineer with good communication skills
To succeed in this role you have a high technical interest. The success of our team build on collaboration and strong team spirit, and a success factor in this role is therefore being a team player, sharing solutions, competences and experiences.
Additionally, your CV comprises:
* M.Sc. within electrical, mechanical engineering; or engineering physics.
* Proficiency with modern IT tools for engineering, such as MATLAB or COMSOL.
* Experience in modelling by numerical methods (such as COMSOL) is desirable.
* Fluency in spoken and written English
* Proficiency in other languages such as Swedish is a merit
