Position Description
SEIM is a function within Parts & Service and Quality & Customer Satisfaction (Q&CS) at Volvo Buses. We are responsible for Reduce "downtime" and increase "profitability" for the bus owner/owners. We are today represented in Sweden, Brazil, Mexico, Poland and India.
We are now seeking a combined Technical Information Specialist & Coordinator to be located at the Gothenburg site, who has the drive and passion to contribute to future solutions of our products, using both your knowledge and curiosity to find the best solutions together with your colleagues within Parts & Service and Product Development.
The Technical Information Specialist role will be approximately 70% of the working time and 30% will be Coordinator role.

Main activities and responsibilities:
Technical Information Specialist:
Responsible for submitting and fulfilling requests for updates to technical information
Acts as local expert on specific Deliverable types (publications) for which they are responsible.
Driver 's Handbook editing
Preventive Maintenance Intervals
Accessories Information
Service Information in Impact
Works closely with service and/or technical engineers to plan and draft technical information
Prepares text and graphics for technical information, using SID (authoring tool)
Coordinator:
Coordination and planning of SEIM tasks locally and globally with support from manager
Take an active part in project planning at the department with the purpose to Have a manageable distribution of the SEIM requested work over time
Develop & drive continuous improvement and communicate to processes
Develop and follow up KPIs

Bachelor's degree in related field; Technical Writing, Communications, Graphics, English, or has gained equivalent knowledge through work experience
Minimum 2 years aftermarket experience with truck/bus or transportation industry
Strong writing and communication skills
Team player
Project management skills, to include project planning and oversight as it pertains to technical information development
Holistic view and ability to work cross functionally and build strong relations
structured and analytic
knowledge about aftermarket delivery related processes and organization
knowledge about different project management methodology models used at Volvo
required skills in related areas defined as SEIM core and strategic competences
good problem solving skills

VGMS and DVP (Develop Product & Aftermarket Product Portfolio) -process
Work in an international enviroment
