hela Sverige Sinch is a rapidly growing startup tech-company using SDK's to simplify the process of adding communication services (voice, instant messaging etc.) to various app's, constructed by developers based all over the world. Sinch is operating strongly in various tech and business areas and develops platforms used by millions of people today. Sinch is based in Stockholm, San Francisco and London with projects in all parts of the world.
We are currently looking for a superstar Procurement and Pricing Manager for the Stockholm office, helping negotiate the best deals for our various products on markets worldwide. You will be part of a team oriented environment with a flat organization model, which allows everyone's ideas and initiatives to be taken into account, for the benefit of the whole company.
Areas of responsibility
We are looking for an experienced Procurement/Pricing Manager to be responsible for the supply of products and services essential for the company operations. In short, your role will be to discover the most profitable suppliers and initiate business partnerships with them.
Location for this position is Stockholm and you won't be required to travel to various client countries.
The Procurement and Pricing manager will take ownership of the whole process, from initial contact to purchase to revenue and follow-up's. You will be part of and report to the Financial team.
Typical work tasks
Typical work tasks will consist of wide range of areas, including: Making pricing lists, Negotiate and re-negotiate with external suppliers to secure the most advantageous price, terms and best quality products, Carry out Competitor and Market analysis and establish a basis for pricing decisions on products and services, Provide margin and profitability analysis based on cost and COGS calculations, Inspect and maintain prices, revenues and expenses with regards to customer and product level, Participate in the sales process acting as advisor to our Sales Department.
Some experience of making cold calls is a merit but it is absolutely required you enjoy talking on the phone and is not shy to make new contacts.
Professional experience and educational background
We believe you have strong technical understanding, not necessary from telecom but some form of technical background and interest is a must. We also believe you have previous experience from the area of Pricing and Procurement. In order to initiate and close required deals strong negotiation and networking skills are necessary. Apart from technical understanding we also expect you to have some knowledge of budgets, financials, and statistical analysis. Excellent English and Excel skills are a must, as well as a proactive and open mindset. Some form of higher education is required, preferably within the technical area.
