Delivering IT services
Customer Applications (in Sweden) deliver IT services mainly to Sales Nordic, Customer service and Distribution Nordic. The Supply Unit is responsible for Applications Management and Development services for Customer applications supporting the Business Units in their customer processes. We manage a number of applications and one of them is mySAP Utilities (IS-U, CRM, BW). Supporting the Business Units main processes means that demands on us as a supplier are high. Business knowledge, pro-activeness and commitment to deliver with quality and efficiency are essential features for our business.
From the systems we are invoicing the customer 2.000 MSEK/month, handling over 900 000 grid and sales customers (in Sweden), sending 10 million items of mail per year and we support Customer Service in their 1.200 000 telephone calls per year from customers.
Customer Applications consists of four teams (total 45 co-workers), 3 teams are mainly located in Råcksta, Sweden, and one team in Finland. The teams are;
• Contract Management (Application Management)
• Meter reading & Billing (Application Management)
• Development and Technical/Cross-functions (concerning mySAP Utilities and other customer systems)
• Finland (Application Management in Finland)
Your role
• Leading your organisation to the efficient delivery of various IT-related studies and projects connected to the main customer processes, in accordance with quality, time line and budget agreed in a project specification.
• Leading your team in maintaining and enhancing high-quality cross-functional/technical competences, with deliveries to both projects and application management organisations. Examples of areas that we handle are BI/BW technicalities and coding, ABAP coding (SAP) and system landscape/transport management.
• Financial responsibility including budgeting, forecasts and cost allocation for your team and projects.
• Resource strategies, allocation and coordination including competence development. As we manage large projects and many external consultants, a focus area is to find and keep the right ration staff – consultants, as well as a balanced consultant cost situation.
• Reporting and monitoring project deliveries.
As Team Manager for the Development and Technical/cross-functional team you are responsible for 9 co-workers and a number of external consultants. Alongside the development program manager, you are responsible for delivering IT-related pre-studies, analyses and development projects connected to the main customer processes, with a focus on the mySAP Utilities application suite.
The position involves responsibility for resource allocation and staffing including management of underpinning contracts with sub-contractors. Close co-operation with the other teams in Customer Applications, other IT Supply Units, the IT purchasing department within VBSN and the business is required and necessary.
You report to VBSNs Supply Unit manager for Customer Applications.
