hela Sverige As a Team Leader for our Onboard Systems Engineering team, you will lead and develop a team of highly skilled System Engineers and System Architects in the Onboard Systems Engineering team located in Stockholm. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing new railway signaling technology, and will have interactions with colleagues/internal customers all around the world.
Key Responsibilities and Challenges
Support R&D projects and other technical assignments (i.e. responsible for budget, schedule, resources and deliverables) as technical lead.
Provide leadership and direction to the staff of system engineers within the team.
Ensure adherence to engineering safety processes (Systems Engineering Process, Requirement handling, CENELEC) to provide high systems Engineering standard which meet Product Management and customer's schedule and expectation.
Maintain close contact with staff on status of their work. Communicate and enforce the engineers' responsibility for tracking their progress and adherence to budgeted hours through task planning. Develop action plans and coordinate resources to address and resolve problems as needed.
Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering field
Over 5 years of experience in a lead position (technical or people management)
Systems Engineering experience in a similarly complex industry (i.e. aerospace, automotive, oil & gas)
Knowledge of development of safety critical integrated systems is a strong advantage, as well as knowledge of requirements management methods and tools
English fluency is a requirement; Swedish is a strong advantage.
