We are looking for a Head of our Maths department. Our maths department is the most well resourced in our school and we are looking for a teacher with managerial aspirations who has the hunger to drive this department forward. We are looking for a clear academic vision so that we can offer our students the education in maths.
Included in the position is also teaching y8 and 9 plus mentor ship.
We are looking for someone who has:
• International or Swedish maths qualification
• Detailed knowledge of lgr 11 and the upcoming changes to the curriculum
• Previous experience of Maths National Tests
• Experience of teaching in an international environment
• Experience of or the desire to manage a maths department
• Ambition
