Sandvik in Stockholm is looking for a Tax Manager

Sandvik’s tax department is a part of Group Finance and our 18 employees share the vision of being a strategic and highly developed function in managing tax issues in a global environment. Tax is a highly prioritized area with its important impact on shareholder value for Sandvik. Sandvik is growing both organically and through acquisitions and is currently setting a new strategic direction to strengthen market leadership.

We are now looking for a Tax Manager in the areas of Transfer Pricing and International Tax. The position will be based in Stockholm.

Key performance areas

As Tax Manager you will, together with colleagues at the tax department, coordinate and follow up in the areas of Transfer Pricing and International Tax. Your main responsibilities will include to:

•   Handle day-to-day issues and manage projects regarding international taxation and transfer pricing

•   Actively work closely with the business areas to identify tax risks and potentials, suggest solutions and action plans, identify training needs, etc.

•   Proactively work with Country Organizations and the person responsible for country taxes to follow up and handle risks, as well as take advantage of planning opportunities in each country

•   Give internal training in the area of tax

Your profile

We are looking for a person with a degree or relevant experience from business or law. You have good knowledge of international corporate tax and at least three to five years’ experience of transfer pricing and international taxation. Excellent communication skills are a necessity for this role and knowledge of business English, both written and spoken, is a prerequisite.

The ideal candidate possesses project management capabilities, as well as good strategic abilities and a talent for analysis and critical thinking.  In addition, experience with implementing processes in matrix organizations is important. Furthermore, we expect that you are business-oriented and proactive, with the ability to work both within a team and independently.
