A career within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever changing tax specialties. You'll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions.

Our team helps our clients identify and reduce tax risks, meet compliance obligations, implement tax strategies that complement business and operational objectives, resolve disagreements with tax authorities, and manage tax accounting and reporting issues. You'll be engaged in projects dealing with International tax, mergers and acquisitions, state and local tax accounting, regulatory processes, tax reporting and strategy.
We are looking for one more employee to join our Tax & Legal department in Gothenburg.

In Sweden, we are more than 370 tax and legal consultants working with national and international tax and legal issues, of which 60 are stationed in Gothenburg. We work with clients from all areas, from small to large companies, public actors, non-profit organizations and private individuals. At our tax department at the Gothenburg office, we have several specialist groups and right now we are looking for you who want to join the VAT team.

You will be working within the VAT team with focus on compliance for customers, due diligence, legal investigations and problem solving. As an Associate you are responsible for supporting your senior colleagues. As being a part of the team there is always someone you can ask when you have question.

As an Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Proactively assist the team in various aspects of the project
• Prepare deliverables
• Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen
• Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
• Ensure you are adhering to compliance matters
• Work on developing internal relationships and your PwC brand

Preferred skills
• A law degree and aptitude for economics, or an economics degree with great interest in law (tax).
• 1-2 years of experience or more of work with VAT from agency, authority or the business sector.
• Master Swedish and English both verbally and in writing.
