We are looking for a Task Leader Interior Special Vehicles
With us you will be a part of a global team with the business responsibility for all new and current car matters - from early strategic work, throughout the lifecycle to end of life of the cars. This includes challenging areas such as product planning, program management, propulsion and platform strategy and partnership strategy.

R&D Special Vehicles & Accessories is a department that develops complete Cars and Accessory products. The department consists of 3 sections Hardware development, Electronic development and Project office & Strategy. Our mission are to develop products that enhance the Volvo brand and are profitable. About the position
As a Task Leader you will be responsible for Interior assignments from PS (Program Start), up until FSR (Final Status Report). It will be different projects and interior products so we are looking for someone who has a very broad knowledge of interior development. You will work in very close cooperation with internal Catia Design Engineers and external system suppliers.
Responsibilities
* Actively lead the assignment, cross functional team and ensure that all results and deliveries are in accordance to the request
* Report the status and forecast for the project to TPL (Technical Project Leader).
* Ensure the assignment's part planning through continuous updating and tracking of part status.
* Ensure that analysis, verification and validation requirements are created, monitored and implemented.
* Prepare Design Review checklists and meetings for the assignment together with line manager

Task Leader in Special Vehicles & Accessories is a very challenging role and you will need to use your network within the company to succeed the job. You will also learn and discover new organizations and interesting people in Volvo. Our organization is like a small Volvo company within Volvo and working with us you will get a very good understanding and holistic view of how Volvo works. We have very close contact and cooperation with our business and product planning colleagues so you will be included in very early stages in the projects. You will for sure need to use your leadership skills and there are many challenging assignment to develop your leadership capabilities.
Required qualifications
* Relevant technical education (BSc, MSc in mechanical engineering or Design) or equivalent experience
* Driver license B
* Minimum 5 years' experience of Task Leading/Project leading in automotive
* Wide experience from mechanical development of products in different material and processes
* Good knowledge in Volvo Product Development System (VPDS).
* Skilled in Swedish and English, both in speech and writing
Meritorious qualifications
* Interior mechanical design engineering in Catia
* Interior material development and production processes in plastic, textile and leather
