The rise of the sharing economy, urbanization, a growing concern for the environment, and rapid advancements in technology have all spurred the question: Is there a better way to get around? This has triggered companies and cities to develop technologies and services that offer more convenient, efficient, and flexible ways of travel. Now that people have the choice, car-sharing is exploding in the number of users globally. From only 350.000 in 2006, car sharing users is expected to well exceed 23 million in 2024.

This is why Volvo Cars has decided to start a new global car-sharing venture, stand-alone under the ownership of Volvo Car Corporation. THE POSITION

We are seeking a committed and passionate talent acquisition and employer branding specialist who thrives from the challenge to start up something new where you need to be creative and find solutions when processes are not in place. An essential element for our success is to attract the right talents and competences. This role requires the ability to be both strategically and to execute towards the strategies operationally.

The position includes identifying long-term potential and competencies needed in the organization and identify innovative strategies to attract talented and diverse candidates. Ensure consistency and increase the efficiency in our recruitment and selection process with a focus on creating a good candidate experience. It also includes support of group managers in HR related questions such as foreign hires, interview technique, LinkedIn search and preparation of job offers. Support hiring managers with ability tests, OPQ and verify, as well as competence-based interviews. This role also requires a strong sense of humor - we like to have fun while we are making history!

Main tasks:
* Create a staffing plan and execute towards it.
* Translate business needs/improvement areas into HR requirements and actions.
* Create a platform for branding activates and communications within employer branding.
* Identify the organizational capabilities required to execute the business strategy.
* Proactively develop, support and monitor actions linked to talent acquisition and employer branding in home market and abroad.

COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS:

* Proven track record from similar small, agile, organization where scaling and speed is critical.
* Competence in talent acquisition (including organization development, staffing planning, pitching candidates and communications).
* Proven ability to diagnose issues, drawing on both professional experience and strategic thinking skills, and drive appropriate solutions with self-initiative
* Strong business acumen

* Excellent written and verbal communication; high quality document preparation and presentation skills
* Ability to work independently, as well as an active member of the business team
* Experience working with global teams and driving organizational change initiatives.
* Resilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high level of energy and sense of humor
* Ability to mix focus between strategic tasks and tactical tasks
