Job Description
The main area of responsibility is to manage TAC products throughout the product life cycle and to listen to the market needs. The portfolio consists of both software and hardware products for building automation and security. In this position the emphasis is security systems, i.e. electronic access control and digital video recording,
The role will involve
• Acting as a communication channel to the market, in order to gather information and opinions from our customers and convey this to the Development department;
• Providing sales and marketing support to our sales channels, including both subsidiaries and partners, by actively participating in sales events and responding to product enquiries and various other ways;
• In addition to the Sales channels, cooperate with various parts of the company, such as Marketing, Products Development, Business Development, Product Support, Production and Logistics;
• Plan and execute launches of new products;
• Keep the product portfolio up-to-date by planning the introduction of new products and termination of outdated products;
• Business Intelligence activities in order to understand the business and competition;
• Management of product transfer prices;
• Being responsible for sales material concerning the products, including data sheets, presentations, manuals, brochures and training material;
You will report to the Senior Product Manager.
Skills Required
We are looking for someone with a few years Product Management experience, preferably within the Security or Building Automation industries or other relevant industry. You have a distinctive eye for marketing, are interested in technology and have an understanding of complex and integrated systems. You probably have a technical university degree and preferably marketing experience. You are familiar with MS Office, have excellent communication skills and are fluent in English.
As a person you are communicative, confident, and a keen team player. You show dedication and commitment to your work, and are comfortable to work in a flexible and changing environment. In order to reach your goals, you are continuously looking for challenges for yourself and others. You have the ability to work independently as well as creating external and internal networks.
