The System Design Radar group within Product Unit Mission System is responsible for the system-level design of our airborne surveillance radar systems, including antenna and microwave electronics, signal processing, tracking and data fusion. As a systems engineer, you will take part in defining the function and performance of our radar systems. This involves analyzing system performance based on models and test data to optimize real-world system performance and robustness. The work is largely allocated and prioritized by the team members based on stakeholder input.
In addition, part of the work is to perform forward-looking studies into future capabilities, functions and realizations and to keep an eye on industrial and academic R&D within relevant fields of technology to keep our product portfolio relevant for the market.
Your profile
We are looking for one or more candidates with a M.Sc. or other equivalent experience in a relevant engineering field. Previous experience from working with radar and/or other microwave and antenna systems is highly desirable. Furthermore, we value experience from systems engineering as well as familiarity with, or an interest in, signal and data processing, tracking and data fusion.
You enjoy working in close cooperation with a team to solve a wide array of problems on various levels of abstraction from theoretical concept to practical system implementation.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
