As a System Engineer you will be working close together with our local Engineering Offices teams in Europe.
Your main work will be the development of electrical / logical design of electrical distribution systems for European Car makers.
• Development of electrical / logical design of electrical system plan and the definition of required wire dimensions
• Communicate with Lear System Engineers in local Engineering Offices in Europe to coordinate the design changes and assure proper implementation in schematics on time
• Alignment with the Mechanical Wire Harness Enigneers in the local Engineering Offices in Europe
• Run DRC (Design rule check) and sanity checks on schematics versus 2D drawings
• Prepare systems change documents
• Run CAE analysis as Saber or Mentor CHS analysis
• Perform studies as requested by local Engineering Offices
Qualifications:
We believe that you are an electrical engineer or equivalent and preferably have experience of EDS systems work in the automotive industry. Experience of working in Mentor CHS and Saber Harness is also an advantage.
You have good knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc) and have fluent command of English both spoken and written.
Your services involve frequent customer contacts and much collaboration with Lear's global development office. Travels outside of the country are required.
As a person you are flexible and independent, gladly initiative and not afraid of taking responsibility. You should feel well in a fast-paced environment, high expectations and with project oriented work. A good social skills and good interpersonal skills are essential.
