Venture backed and expanding rapidly we now seek an experienced systems administrator to join our growing team. Primary functions and responsibilities
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring all of Videoplazas network infrastructure, servers and applications. This will include designing and implementing new monitoring services together with our systems architects as well as planning for and configuring new servers and network topologies as the platform grows. The Systems Administrator will also be responsible for developing and maintaining Videoplazas build and release processes, including maintaining continuous integration services running Maven-based builds and Maven-managed dependencies.
Professional qualification requirements
• Minimum 3 years experience administrating business-critical Debian-flavour Linux systems with Java runtime environments.
• Professional experience of administrating platforms with very high scalability requirements.
• Extensive experience of configuring and maintaining routers and firewalls. Juniper firewalls a bonus.
• Experience of managing dependency injection-driven Java enterprise applications. Spring based applications running on Tomcat a bonus.
• Some experience of, and an interest in, setting up and managing Maven based java build processes including CI build servers.
Personal qualification requirements
• The will to innovate and try unorthodox solutions combined with the knowledge and experience to make it work or fail fast.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced start-up environment and work well under pressure.
• Ability to prioritize, focus on what is truly important and help others do the same.
• Fluent in English. (Swedish is not a requirement)
• Team player with a genuine drive to succeed in taking the platform to the next level and keep meeting clients needs as Videoplaza grows.
