The group Engine Mounted Cooling System is a part of the section Exhaust & Cooling system. The operation of Cooling System is divided into two groups, Chassis- and Engine mounted cooling system. in order to provide complete cooling systems to all engine and car projects at Volvo Car Corporation. Cooling system is a fundamental and a focused area in respect to thermal management and C02 reduction. We work in close cooperation with our suppliers and different car and engine projects. We deliver complete system to new car projects and to current running production and have the total responsibility for the complete cooling system in the car.
As System Verification Leader you will have a leading role and will be responsible for that testing and verification is planned, performed and documented. You will also be working with strategies when it comes to development of systems and component testing. Furthermore you will review old requirements and test methods in order to develop completely new and yet unknown ways to verify our system. You will work close to our function owner, test engineers, function implementer and system responsible.
Main responsibilities
* That testing and verification are planned, performed and documented
* Report result from completed test activities
* Approve component supplier 's test descriptions and test reports
* Create and maintain necessary test plans
* Coordinate and prioritise all verification activities for the system
Required qualifications
* B.Sc. in Mechanics or Mechatronics, or a similar education or equivalent experience
* Experience of project work
* Good knowledge in English
* Skills in Excel
* Drivers license B
* Experience from testing and verification is meritorious
* Experience of development of systems and component testing is meritorious
Personal qualities
* Ability to work with several projects at a time
* A teamplayer with good communication skills
* Analytical, structured and a great technical interest
* Self-motivated with a driving force
* Business and performance driven
