Business Segment
The business segment Powertrain & Chassis Products (P&C) serves the Kongsberg Automotive passenger car and commercial vehicle business with powertrain systems and chassis related products. These products are gear shifters for automatic & manual transmissions, shift cables & towers, gear & clutch control systems including actuators and chassis stabilizers.
Role description
Kongsberg P&C Validation team is looking for a System Validation Engineer located in Mullsjö, Sweden to validate our mechatronic systems such as SBW shifters and transmission actuators. The validation covers electrical, mechanical and environmental tests on system level. You will be an important player in the validation team and together with the HW/SW/Mechanical development teams; you will develop test methodologies and test setups to fulfill our customer requirements.
In our work, we use LabView and Vector CANoe as main programming tools for automation, recording and monitoring of pneumatic, electrical and/or robotic test rig setups and we value knowledge from any of those or similar tools.

Candidate profile
We are looking for you with a MSc or BSc of mechanical engineering or equivalent degree in a scientific field. You have previous experience working with HW and/or SW Testing and good knowledge within electronics, HW development process, environmental testing of electronics and SW development environments such as labView, CANoe etc. Fluent in English, both verbal and written, is a requirement.

You are creative and analytic with a positive attitude and have previous experience of working in projects with great personal responsibility.
