Apart from R&D, the Verisure Innovation Centre handles business-critical systems and database management, quality and security assurance, software and product testing, and 24x7 Core Systems that keep our alarm services up and running.
Job purpose
You will perform and manage projects under IT Operations and 24x7 Core Systems, with responsibilities such as serving the company with good IT services and maintaining our common IT-platform. Your main responsibilities are system design and development in projects within the Network, Linux & Open Source domain.
Our office is just a 5 minute walk from Malmö Central Station and is located in a bright and open space with a great view of Öresund.
Main responsibilities
- Lead Verisure Innovation Transformation to cloud and software defined infrastructure
- Lead improvement tasks & initiatives (plan and deploy)
- Work in cross-functional projects, e.g. inter-department with mixed teams
- Automation and orchestration (ansible, docker, kubernetes)
Required Qualifications
- Professional education in computer science (or similar)
- + 5 years of relevant experience
- In depth knowledge of managing an enterprise IT infrastructure
- Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis in large scale environments
- Proficient in Open Source and Linux
- Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in monitoring and auto-remediation
- Experience in several scripting languages
- Knowledge of cloud computing
