We currently have the following job opening;
System Manager Powertrain Testing
As a System Manager Powertrain Testing you are leading and distributing the testing, verification and validation work at Powertrain Controls and Testing. You and your team are part of the Powertrain Controls Testing and Calibration module team at the Powertrain Controls and Calibration unit. The unit consists of 4 different areas, i.e. project, hardware, software and calibration for the propulsion controls. Together, the unit develops the control function for transmission products utilized in present and future state-of-the-art gearbox solutions targeting a globalized customer base.
Part of the challenge comprises presently the development of a team that takes product ownership over time in a complex calibration environment. Thus, you need to drive pragmatically for an approach covering HIL and car environment securing the fulfillment of demanding customer requirements.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Responsible for competence planning for the team
- Lead and distribute the work within the area of Powertrain Controls and Testing
- Responsible for Powertrain Controls and Testing development in close cooperation with other units and/or suppliers
- Participate actively in the sourcing process
- Verify and follow-up on performance vs target
- Secure delivery vs project deadlines
Requirements
- Engineering degree minimum at a Masters level
- Leadership Experience minimum 5 years
- Experience from transmission and/or powertrain calibration and industrialization processes
- Global/international experience
- Ability to create an inspiring and creative work environment
- Ability to inspire actions
- Good business acumen
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive attitude and ability to keep the team motivated
- Fluency in English, both oral and written
- Driven problem solver who takes initiatives and responds to changing priorities
- Ability to travel
- Cultural awareness, especially Asian - European culture
