We currently have the following job opening;
System Manager Instrument Panel
As a System manager you will be responsible for the technical content delivered to the different projects.
You will lead the requirement settings and secure the content in your area in the sourcings. You will lead the Advanced engineering within your area.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Globally drive, develop and establish system requirements
- Globally develop system technology strategies and commonalities
- Develop system design solutions to meet project requirements
- Define interfaces and participate in mechanical and electrical/SW integration meetings until CDJ
- Plan and monitor system development activities until CDJ
- Ensure proper solution of conceptual issues found also after CDJ
- Lead and coordinate cross functional team (System/design engineers, Purchasing, SQM, ME, CAE, validation, etc.)
Profile and Background
- Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, or the equivalent experience
- Relevant experience from development of components and systems within the cockpit area.
- Min 5 years of experience within IP/FC area
- Knowledge about trends and applicability of new technologies
- Leadership skills with ability to inspire, drive, motivate and coach team members
- Cultural awareness, especially Asian - European culture
- A flexible mindset with ability to lead change and development and take decisions
- A creative and analytical mindset to handle complex problems
- Ability to communicate clearly and be perceptive
- Technical expertise
