We currently have the following job opening;
System Manager - Supplemental Restraints System
As a System Manager for SRS (Supplemental Restraints System) within the Safety Electronics & Functions area you will be responsible for leading the Restraints Electronic system team in the development of the new SRS system to be implement for our LYNK & CO and Geely vehicles in our sites in Gothenburg (Sweden) and Hangzhou Bay (Close to Shanghai in China).
Responsibility and tasks
• Globally drive, develop and establish system requirements to meet project requirements based on Top Hat adaption and market requirements.
• Globally develop system technology strategies and commonalities
• Develop system design solutions to meet project requirements
• Define interfaces and participate in mechanical and electrical/SW integration meetings.
• Define, plan and monitor system development, testing and validation
• Lead and coordinate cross functional team (System/design engineers, Purchasing, SQM, ME, CAE, validation, etc.)
• Establish necessary engineering documents as input to the suppliers.
• Lead the supplier selection process from the Engineering side
• Support pre-serial vehicle builds
• Report to Module Team Director
• Project report to unit project leader
Profile and Background
• Minimum B.Sc. Electrical, Mechatronics or Computer Engineering or similar.
• Good knowledge of EE systems in cars
• Good knowledge about product development
• Fluent in English (Speaking and Writing)
• Experience within passive safety and restraint electronics is meritorious
• Drivers License Type B
• Ability to Travel
• You have leadership skills with ability to inspire, drive, motivate and coach team members
• You have cultural awareness
• You have a flexible mindset with ability to lead change and development and take decisions
• You have a creative and analytical mindset to handle complex problems
• You have an ability to communicate clearly and be perceptive
• You have a strong drive and engagement. Self-going and self-learning.
• You are willing to help others and to ask for help when needed.
• You have an openness and awareness of Asian, European and foreign cultures.
