We are now looking for a System Engineer with focus on Battery Management System!

Description

The amount of Software and electronics in modern cars increases and the prognosis is that it will increase even more in the future. As part of the Advanced Battery Technology team your focus will be to facilitate the logical integration of the high voltage battery into the vehicle. The work will be done in tight cooperation with System Engineers from other organizational entities within NEVS as well as suppliers. All with the focus to combine an exceptional drive/ride experience with the highest levels of safety, traffic and energy efficiency as well us user convenience.

As System Engineer you will work in a team of engineers, with backgrounds in for instance systems- and controls theory and software engineering that work with the entire development cycle, including integration and verification in our vehicles. During the execution of this development, your team will heavily interact with neighboring teams within NEVS Technical Development, suppliers, and also R&D partners, often in an international setting.

Your position will complement existing skills and resources, and you will be reporting to the Manager for Advanced Battery Technology.

The role as System Engineer involves:

- Develop and maintain vehicle level requirements.
- Support the development of system and component level requirements.
- Develop design proposals on vehicle level.
- Participating in analysis of designs such as FMEA, FTA etc.
- Maintain and develop development environment.

We are looking for someone who has:

- Bachelor or Master in Science
- Experience of 5 years
- Domain knowledge Systems Engineering and UML/SysML
- Domain knowledge High Voltage Systems
- Experience from software intense systems.
- Experience from development of embedded systems with high real time requirements.
- Experience from systems with functional safety requirements and related standards, ISO-26262.
- Fluent in English both spoken and written.

NEVS is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
