We currently have the following job opening;
System Engineer Steering Systems
The Chassi & Safety Electronics unit at CEVT is responsible for the development of steering system, wheel suspension, brakes and Safety Electronics. The Steering System Module Team is responsible for the development of steering gear, steering column, ESCL, floor seal and heatshield.
As a System Engineer you are working with the development of components and systems within module team Steering Systems. You will develop requirements, concepts and system solutions and you will drive the work towards suppliers according to requirements.
Responsibilities and tasks
• Develop and design components and systems that meet requirements
• Secure packaging feasibility within given frames in accordance with the vehicle packaging engineers
• Support the defined release routines and release plans
• Work closely in technical meetings with supplier
Profile and Background
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in mechanical eng., electrical eng. or similar.
• Relevant experience from development of components and systems within the automotive area
• Experience of CAD modelling, preferable CATIA V5
• Experience of working with PLM systems, preferable Teamcenter
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks
• You have a positive attitude and interest in working in project teams and cross functional teams where you find solutions to complex problems together with other people/teams.
• Experience of project leading
• Ability to drive work towards suppliers
• You have an openness and awareness of Asian, European and foreign cultures
