We currently have the following job opening;
System Engineer, Powertrain hybrid functions
We are looking for system Engineers at Control and Calibration within Powertrain Integration. The module team consists of four areas; hardware, software, calibration and projects. We are responsible for the integration of powertrain electrical control units and their brackets as well as related embedded software. We work closely with our colleagues in China and Volvo Car Corporation to secure driveline functionality and calibration that is requested by the projects. We also work in close cooperation with our colleagues in the Powertrain Integration team. As system engineer for powertrain hybrid functions you will take lead for system requirements connected to hybrid drivelines.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Break down of high level requirements for hybrid driveline strategies
- Create system requirement descriptions as input to SW developers
- Define test methods to verify proposed solutions
- Deliver a system solution meeting pre-defined test cases on driveline/vehicle level
- Ensure development, production and aftermarket systems are updated for concerned ECUs
- Cooperate and plan activities together with your system manager
Requirements
- Engineering degree at B.Sc. or M.Sc. level
- 5-years of experience from automotive industry
- Knowledge about hybrid driveline systems/functions
- Great ability to take own initiatives and cooperate with other units in Sweden and China
- Fluent in English
- Cultural awareness, especially Asian - European culture
- Car driving license
- Ability to travel
