System Engineer Powertrain Controls Hardware and Basic Software
The Powertrain Controls Hardware and Basic Software team is responsible for the basic software and electrical hardware development of control units, sensors and wiring harness. This assignment is within the electrical hardware development. This includes working with requirements, have close contact with suppliers (review development progress, verification, inform about changes, etc.), and working close with our colleagues at Geely Powertrain Research Institute. Taking initiative and striving for new innovative ideas will open more opportunities for personal development and increased responsibilities within the team.
Responsibilities and tasks
* Specify the hardware requirements for electrical control units and validate them internally and with suppliers.
* Take lead in gathering, negotiating, updating, and documenting requirements, and provide technical expertise during the purchasing process.
* Be actively involved from concept to the production phase.
* Perform reviews projects and support as hardware specialist in cross-functional teams.
* Take active part in cross functional teams.
Requirements
* BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic, Physics, or similar engineering field, or the equivalent experience
* A couple of years of professional experience. Automotive experience is a merit
* Knowledge of electrical systems and electrical control units
* Good overall knowledge of automotive powertrain and hybrid control systems, including manufacturing aspects
* High motivation to work independently and in team
